Now that the poker room has reopened after 6 months of lock down due to Covid-19, the table is set up with plexiglass and played 6 handed. However, the rake, as I understand, is still collected at a maximum of $7 per hand which is the same as when it was played with 9 handed pre-covid. Many regular poker players in the city consider this a rip off, compared to the same rake but for an 8 handed table set up at Yellow Head and Argill poker rooms. River Cree should either reduce the rake, ie. to $5 for a 6 handed table, or change the setup for 8 players per table if it wants to maintain the $7 rake per hand.
